The Hansons at Union Station
This beautiful couple told me they hadn't had their pictures taken in a LONG time, so it was such a treat to get to stroll around Union Station for an hour doing just that. The weather wasn't ideal (snow and clouds, very strange for Denver!) - AND we were reprimanded when I dared to use a flash, but we made the most of it and even had fun running through the flurries trying to get a shot here or there. These two are just about the kindest people you'll ever meet - can't you

Rowdy
This fun couple has a gorgeous pup named Rowdy. And trust me, this dog is very well loved! Plus, it almost looks like he was born to be a dog model or something! It was fun to snap some pictures of their family up at Chautauqua recently, even if it was a bit chilly out. Quintessential pictures from Boulder, I'd say. :) Here's a peek at their session: #family #dogs #couple

Aaker Family
After a week of crazy cold/snowy weather, we were blessed to have some beautiful days around Thanksgiving (yes, I'm very behind!)! One of the nicest days happened to be when I was meeting this cute family for pictures - Mehgan and I grew up together but hadn't seen each other in MANY years (like 15?!). Isn't Facebook great for those kinds of things? :) We met up at a beautiful lake in Westminster and tried to make the best of the SUPER bright sunlight we were getting (which

Family in Blue
I met this family through my husband's work, and I'm so thankful they chose me to capture their photos while they were in town for Thanksgiving! How cute are these outfits?! I'd say they're the best coordinated family I've had so far. It was so fun to work with them, and while I LOVE working with kiddos, there is just something so peaceful about working with adults :) At any rate, it was a fun afternoon in Golden, and I'm so glad the pictures were able to capture how beautifu

The Sundbergs
On the chilly morning after Thanksgiving, I had the pleasure of meeting up with this beautiful family down south of Denver. In the small world that we live in, it turned out that we actually had quite a few things in common (they went to the same college as my husband!), and it was really great meeting them and getting to capture their family at this fun stage. And how sweet is that beard?! I mean, seriously! Here's a peek at their shoot:

(Back) Home in Denver for a Visit
This beautiful family had the nerve to move across the country (only to the place where all of their family is, you know, so rude!) and leave their friends in Denver with a big old hole in their hearts. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to have them visit over Thanksgiving, and we had just enough time to sneak in a family photo shoot. So they may be gone from Denver, but at least I have these to stare at whenever I need to! I miss these beautiful faces already, but here's a

Mason & Co.
I've probably mentioned how awesome my neighborhood is already on this blog, but have I mentioned how awesome my STREET is?? Seriously, Ash Street for the win! We have some amazing families and friends within blocks of us, and we feel so lucky to be a part of it! One of those amazing families just happened to want some pictures for their holiday cards, and of course I was happy to oblige... not only because I love them anyway, but because look at this sweet little guy!
