Sweet Baby B!
I love getting to meet brand new babies!! Especially when it's to first-time parents. It's so fun getting to see the look of shock and awe in their faces, and watching them ever-so-tenderly holding their new little ones. And it's so fun seeing maternal and paternal instincts kicking in. Isn't it crazy how all of a sudden, one day, you're a parent?? Well these two are already SO fabulous at it, and it was so fun getting to see them at their home with sweet little Brockton. Bot

Friends & Family
Sometimes you meet people that you just click with right away. And sometimes you're lucky enough to meet that person and find out they live only a few houses away. And sometimes you're even luckier to find out that their kids and your own get to go to school together! I lucked out meeting this mama, Kate. She's been a rockstar friend to me in the short time we've known each other, and our kids just love each other which makes life even better. And since we walk to/from school

Cute kid alert!
Sometimes I feel lucky to know such adorable people. I mean, is it normal to have this many beautiful people in one's life?? Take for instance these friends and neighbors who kindly asked if I could take their photos. Of course I would! We spent a beautiful morning at City Park and got some pretty great shots capturing the personalities of their sweet kiddos. I mean, these two are just two stinkin' adorable. Am I right?!? Check out a few pictures from our shoot: #family #chi

Saying Goodbye to Boulder
This sweet family has big changes in store to close out their summer. Sara just finished her PhD at CU Boulder (WAHOO!!) and got a job as a professor at CU in the Springs. Smarty Pants. :) So they've packed up their gorgeous Boulder home (which included the most amazing wine cellar that Chad built!) and are moving all the way to Monument. It will be sad to not have them so close by, but let's be honest, two people with small children that live 30 minutes apart don't get to se

And bump makes four!
Sometimes things just click. In photography, clicking is having excellent light and easy-going clients who just happen to be photogenic and easy on the eyes. Now, most people are more photogenic than they think (that's why you hire a photographer, after all! A good one will bring the best out in you!). And everyone is beautiful. Really. Everyone. But lighting?! Ha, that's a hard one to get just right. It's a rare occasion that I get a beautiful evening for a family session. B

Baby Natalia!
Not long ago, I was taking pictures of Justyna's beautiful baby bump on a gorgeous evening near their home in Thornton. And all of a sudden, Baby Natalia is here!! This girl has an amazing head of hair and two parents who love her like crazy. What a blessed little girl. What's even cooler, is that she is a first generation American! Her dad was born and raised in New Zealand and her mom was born and raised in Poland. How cool is that?! Her grandparents even flew in from acro

The Thomas Family
Now that sweet Huxton is getting bigger and moving around and Rowan is getting older and using his walker and stander, it was so fun to capture some family of FOUR photos at Sloans Lake! This family is beautiful, inside and out. And these kids, could they get any cuter?? Seriously. So fun getting to document their kiddos over the years :) Here are a few pics from the shoot on a cloudy night in Denver! #siblings #family #children

Coot Lake
I've never been to Coot Lake in Boulder, but it's a gorgeous place for pictures! This great family asked me to meet them there for some pictures while they were all in town celebrating Morgan's husband's police academy graduation. They came from all across the country, so it was fun to capture a few memories for them all together in the same place for once :) Aren't these sisters so cute!! It was a bright, warm morning, coupled with a triathlon at the neighboring Boulder Res,

A Beautiful Evening with the Maugel Family
It is a huge compliment when my friends ask me to photograph their families. Seriously. Because they know I'm fully aware of the MANY talented photographers in the Denver area, and I'd rather they choose someone they love than just choose me because we're friends. You know? So when the Maugels wanted to get another family session done, I was so happy to oblige! We met at the beautiful Cheesman Park in Denver right as some serious storms were moving in. (Like, tornado-watch-in

Forrest and His Family
Sweet baby Forrest arrived this Spring, and I was lucky enough to go capture a few moments with the family! Meet Todd and Tonia, two of the kindest and most genuine people I've met! Their sweet family is full of love and laughter. And their oldest son, Linden, is full of ENERGY! :) He's going to be a great big brother, I mean look how much he loved pushing Forrest around in a truck ;) Here are a few pictures from our session at their home, enjoy the sweet newborn goodness :)
