Love & Sunsets
Engagement sessions are SO much fun, even when the sun is setting quickly and parks are threatening to close you in, making for a somewhat rushed shoot. Thankfully, these two gorgeous people totally killed it. I mean, look at her! The hair, the dress, the ring - so beautiful! I can't wait to capture their wedding next summer! These two just moved to Colorado from California, so it's fun that we even got to capture some of the mountains and the Denver city skyline during this

Boys, Boys, Boys!
This beautiful mama found me on Facebook and somehow chose me over all the amazing photographers in our area to capture some family time together before a new little boy arrives in their lives. As the rain and hail poured down, we were worried that the weather wouldn't cooperate for our session, but thankfully we waited it out because a beautiful sunset awaited us! This mama is - hello - gorgeous! And her boys and boyfriend are as well, right!? I mean, talk about a good looki

Love Is All Around!
You may remember this beautiful couple from their engagement photos this past January. Well here are some photos from their beautiful wedding day! Tina and Austin - it was so fun to be able to capture your special day and all the love and joy that came along with it. Thank you for choosing me for such an important job! You both looked gorgeous and your wedding was beautiful! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love. #wedding #couple #event

My BFF Is Getting Hitched!
It's a really lucky thing in life to meet someone that you instantly click with. Especially when that person makes you laugh out loud and be yourself and think about the world in new ways. I was lucky enough to meet that friend almost 13 years ago when I was working on Capitol Hill (feels like a lifetime ago!). He was an intern in my office, and from day one, I knew we'd be friends. Sure enough, all these years later (filled with hilarious memories, a stint of being roommates

Love is Beautiful!
As luck would have it (or divine intervention most likely!), this beautiful couple reached out to me after getting my name from a neighborhood website. I always feel grateful when these things happen, particularly because there are SO many talented photographers in our area and threads like these get about 30-40 recommendations. Somehow, they landed on ME. (smile) When I met Alison and Betsy to talk about their big day, I came to find out that it was actually their third big

Getting Married!
I met Tina about four years ago when she moved to Denver to nanny for her nephew (the son of some of my dearest friends). She must have loved it here, because all these years later, with her family back in their hometown, she's still here and is getting married here in a few months! Lucky us, right?? She met this sweet guy through a Bible Study at our church (does it get any cuter?), and I'm so excited for their new adventure together. For some crazy reason, they chose me to

Baby Bumps In The Snow!
I had the pleasure of getting to spend time with this awesome pair at Wash Park recently after a little snow had fallen. It was a gorgeous morning with a ridiculously gorgeous mama-to-be. This girl has a heart of pure gold - she is going to make such an awesome mom! She's one of the most kind, patient, joyful, loving and selfless people I know. Her passion for life and her faith are so inspiring. I can't wait to meet their little baby girl next month!! Here's a peek at our ti

Love in City Park (and in the rain)
This gorgeous couple braved the rain, and thankfully so, because we ended up with a beautiful session one Sunday evening at City Park. Engagement pictures are some of my favorite to do, and it was especially fun because Emily is SOOOO photogenic!! I mean, seriously! Their wedding will be out in California, but Denver has been a huge part of their relationship, so it was fitting to get some beautiful Fall shots in City Park with the skyline in the background. I'm sure they'l

Growing family!
This sweet family was one of my first official family shoots when I started my business last year. They came as a recommendation of a friend of a friend (you know how that goes), and it turned out they went to the same college as my husband and even knew my brother-in-law while he was at school there! Small world, right? It was so fun meeting them last year, so it was extra sweet to hear that they wanted pictures again this Fall. We met bright and early (on a very chilly morn

Friends & Family
Sometimes you meet people that you just click with right away. And sometimes you're lucky enough to meet that person and find out they live only a few houses away. And sometimes you're even luckier to find out that their kids and your own get to go to school together! I lucked out meeting this mama, Kate. She's been a rockstar friend to me in the short time we've known each other, and our kids just love each other which makes life even better. And since we walk to/from school
